At Bluebell Jewellery Design we take our inspiration from the natural world, our planet and all its inhabitants are incredibly precious to us so we strive to do everything we can to protect it. This means that we evaluate our production processes, materials and suppliers to make sure the impact they have on our environment is as minimal as possible.

Recycled precious metals – 100% of the silver we use to create our pieces is recycled. This means that the silver we use is mot mined from the ground. Mining silver can greatly impact our environment, it causes erosion, contaminates groundwater, soil and surface water by using chemicals during the mining process and it causes loss of biodiversity. 

Responsible packaging – We ensure that our suppliers have the same ethos as us when it comes to sustainability and the environment. We encourage our customers to retain our branded presentation boxes to store their pieces in when they are not being worn. They are made from FSC^® certified card and are finished with buckram paper using a water-based glue. The box contains a small foam insert which is not currently recyclable but we are working hard to source a sustainable insert to replace this. Our postal packaging is 100% recyclable, the boxes are all cardboard, we use wood wool padding and the packaging tape is made from recyclable , vegan-friendly kraft paper. Our jewellery care card is made from recycled card and is recyclable and the stickers we use are 100% recycled, biodegradable and vegan. Our postage labels are sustainibly made from FSC^® certified materials, are fully recyclable and are plastic/phenol free.

Ecologi – we are Climate Positive Workforce® members of Ecologi which means we offset the emissions from each of our personal and professional lives so all 6 of Team Bluebell is climate positive. The money we pay for our membership goes towards planting groves of trees in our company forest and financing carbon reduction projects around the world.
